PLANNING A SMOKY MOUNTAINS VACATION? Make Stecoah the centerpiece of your getaway, with all these great things to do.

The Stecoah Valley Artisans Gallery showcases the work of the 50-plus members of the Stecoah Artisans Guild, a juried membership organization, as well as the Associate artists of the Guild.

The Gallery is open 10 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday year round; and Saturdays from April through October. And it's open with extended hours during special events and fundraisers.

The Gallery offers a unique opportunity to buy original artwork as well as the fine crafts that have made North Carolina famous. Gift wrapping and shipping are available. More about the Gallery

The Artisans Guild hosts two Drive-About Studio Tours annually in June and November as well as a Silent Auction that benefits the Center.

An Appalachian Evening, our summer concert series, runs from the last Saturday in June through Labor Day weekend. Notable artists such as The Biscuit Burners, Bobby Hicks, Wayne Henderson, and The Kruger Brothers (pictured above) have appeared on our historic stage. The Saturday concerts are held at 7:30 pm in our 300-seat, air-conditioned auditorium.

The series has been selected by The Southeast Tourism Society as one of its "Top 20 Events" in the region.

You'll want to come early for a traditional Appalachian dinner, served family style at 5:30 and 6:30 seatings in the Stecoah dining room. Reservations are required. Lighter fare is also available in the main building. More about An Appalachian Evening
